Real estate photography in Boise, Idaho

Boise is the center of the Treasure Valley market and has the widest mix of housing in Idaho: 1920s bungalows in the North End, mid-century ranches on the Bench, view homes in the foothills, and new subdivisions in Southwest Boise and Harris Ranch.

Each of those sells to a different buyer, and each photographs differently. We shoot them for what they are, with the same packages and published prices we use everywhere else.

Old houses, new houses, and the view

North End and East End homes have character and small rooms. Mature trees shade the front, so exteriors get scheduled for when the sun is on the facade, and interiors are shot wide without bending the walls. Buyers for these homes want the woodwork and the porch, not a stretched living room.

In the foothills, the view out the window is half the listing. Each frame gets balanced so the room and the view both read, instead of a bright white rectangle where the city should be.

Much of central Boise sits within five miles of Boise Airport, where drone flights need FAA authorization before takeoff, so aerials there are planned ahead. Out in Southwest Boise and Harris Ranch, the drone is how you show the parks, paths, and open space a newer subdivision is selling.

Which package fits a Boise listing

Starter covers MLS photos and a branded listing website. It's enough for a clean Bench ranch or a downtown condo where the photos carry the listing.

Social Plus adds a highlight video, vertical clips for Instagram and Facebook, and drone photos. Pick it for North End character homes and anything you plan to promote on social.

Summit adds a Matterport 3D tour, a 2D floor plan, and twilight photos. That's the set for foothills view homes and listings aimed at buyers relocating from out of state.

On the published price table, a 1,600 sq ft North End bungalow is $300 on Starter or $625 on Social Plus. A 4,200 sq ft foothills home on Summit is $1,600.
